If your mobility scooter or product arrives damaged, please contact the dealer where you made your purchase on the same day as delivery to report the issue. This helps speed up replacements or repairs.

In the European Union, mobility scooters can often be purchased without VAT (Value Added Tax) if certain conditions are met. VAT exemption is intended to make essential mobility aids more affordable for people with disabilities.

You may be entitled to VAT exemption if:

  • You have a chronic illness or disability that affects your mobility.

  • The scooter is purchased for your personal and domestic use only.

  • You can provide a declaration or medical evidence confirming your eligibility (the exact proof required depends on the country).

Please note:

  • VAT exemption does not apply if the scooter is bought for temporary injury, short-term use, or resale.

  • Rules and documentation requirements can vary by EU member state, so always check the local regulations before purchase.

We provide a comprehensive mobility scooter warranty to give you peace of mind: Lifetime Warranty – Covers structural frame components, including the platform, fork, seat post, and frame welds. Two-Year Limited Warranty – Covers the drivetrain, including the transaxle, motor, and brakes. One-Year Limited Warranty – Covers all electrical components, such as controllers and battery chargers. Please note: attempting to dismantle or modify these parts will void the warranty. Battery Warranty – Batteries are covered for 12 months by the original manufacturer. For Lithium-ion batteries, please refer to the separate Lithium Warranty information. Not covered under warranty: Consumable items that naturally wear over time, such as tyres, bulbs, lap belts, upholstery, plastic shrouds, motor brushes, and fuses. Damage caused by misuse, severe impact, accidents, or environmental factors (e.g., flooding, acts of nature) is not covered. Note: Warranty covers parts only; labour and service costs are handled by your authorised mobility dealer.
As a mobility scooter manufacturer, we do not sell our products directly to the public. Instead, we work with a network of authorised mobility dealers who set their own retail prices. Because pricing can vary by location and retailer, we do not display prices on our website. To get an accurate quote, please contact your nearest approved mobility dealer.
When selecting a lightweight travel scooter, consider factors such as weight capacity, travel range, portability, storage space, and how often you will need to lift it into a vehicle. Our experienced mobility retailers can offer expert advice, product demonstrations, and recommendations to help you choose the best folding or portable scooter to suit your lifestyle.

In most European countries, you do not need insurance for a lightweight, travel mobility scooter, as these are usually considered medical devices rather than motor vehicles. However, the rules can vary depending on the country.

  • In many EU member states, liability insurance is optional but recommended, as it protects you in case of accidental damage or injury to others.

  • For larger or faster scooters, some countries may require registration or insurance.

  • Always check the local regulations of the country where you plan to use your scooter, since requirements can differ across Europe.

While not always legally required, we advise considering at least personal liability insurance for peace of mind during travel.

Yes, all our portable travel mobility scooters include a manufacturer’s warranty, covering faults or defects for added peace of mind. The warranty length and terms may vary depending on the scooter model. Your dealer can provide full details when purchasing.
Yes, we supply a wide range of spare parts and scooter accessories, including baskets, covers, additional batteries, and replacement components. These are available through our authorized mobility scooter retailers, ensuring your scooter remains in top condition for years to come.

Yes, travel mobility scooters can generally be used on pavements (sidewalks) throughout Europe. These scooters are designed for low speeds and safe pedestrian areas, so pavements are their primary use.

  • Pavements/sidewalks: In most European countries, travel scooters are allowed on pavements as long as they do not exceed pedestrian speed (usually around 6 km/h). Users are expected to show consideration for pedestrians.

  • Roads: Small, lightweight travel scooters are not intended for road use. Larger mobility scooters with higher speeds may be permitted on certain roads or cycle paths, but this depends on local laws.

  • Crossings: You may use pedestrian crossings just like someone walking would.

Always check the specific regulations in the country where you are driving, as rules can vary slightly.

Yes, many travel mobility scooters are airline-approved and suitable for air travel. However, it’s important to check with your airline before flying, as rules may vary. Most airlines require the mobility scooter battery to be removed before boarding. Travel scooters typically use sealed, airline-safe lithium or gel batteries, making them convenient for frequent travelers.
Yes, most authorised mobility dealers offer in-store demonstrations or home assessments. This allows you to test different power chair models, ensuring you find the right fit for your needs before committing to a purchase.
While powered wheelchair insurance is not legally required, it is strongly recommended. Insurance can protect you against theft, accidental damage, and third-party liability, giving you extra peace of mind when using your electric wheelchair in public spaces.
