Your serial number is a total of 14 characters long.
You can find it in between the batteries, or on a white sticker on the chair mast.
How do I know which mobility scooter or product is right for me?
Choosing the best mobility scooter or mobility aid depends on factors such as your physical needs, travel distance, portability, and comfort preferences. We recommend booking a free consultation or product demonstration with one of our authorised retailers. They can assess your needs and recommend the most suitable mobility solution for your independence and lifestyle.
Do you offer servicing and repairs for mobility scooters?
Yes, we recommend regular servicing to keep your mobility scooter or powerchair performing safely and reliably. Servicing and repairs are provided through our authorised mobility dealers and service providers, who are trained to maintain and repair our products.
How can I purchase your mobility products?
Our mobility scooters and mobility aids are available exclusively through a network of approved retail partners. You can visit a local showroom or online retailer to view products, receive expert advice, arrange a demonstration, and make your purchase with full support.
Do you sell spare parts for mobility scooters?
Yes, we manufacture genuine spare parts and accessories for all our mobility products. However, all parts must be ordered through your local authorised retailer, who will place the order on your behalf and ensure delivery to you.
I have a problem with my mobility scooter – what should I do?
If you experience any issues with your mobility product, please contact our Customer Service Team or your authorised retailer. Our team will guide you through troubleshooting steps to diagnose the problem and work quickly to provide a solution or arrange repairs if needed.
What should I do if my mobility product arrives damaged?
If your mobility scooter or product arrives damaged, please contact the retailer where you made your purchase on the same day as delivery to report the issue.
Photographic evidence will be required to process your claim, so we recommend taking clear photos of the damaged item and packaging before contacting the store. This helps speed up replacements or repairs.
What entitles me to VAT exemption on mobility scooters?
If you have a long-term or chronic medical condition, you may qualify for VAT relief on mobility scooters and mobility aids. This exemption does not apply to temporary injuries such as broken bones that are expected to heal fully.
Qualifying conditions include, but are not limited to:
Arthritis
Dementia
Stroke
Multiple sclerosis
Diabetes
Other chronic illnesses requiring ongoing treatment or mobility support
This VAT exemption ensures you can purchase essential mobility equipment without paying additional Value Added Tax, making your investment in independence and mobility more affordable.
What does my mobility equipment warranty cover?
We provide a comprehensive mobility scooter warranty to give you peace of mind:
Lifetime Warranty – Covers structural frame components, including the platform, fork, seat post, and frame welds.
Two-Year Limited Warranty – Covers the drivetrain, including the transaxle, motor, and brakes.
One-Year Limited Warranty – Covers all electrical components, such as controllers and battery chargers. Please note: attempting to dismantle or modify these parts will void the warranty.
Battery Warranty – Batteries are covered for 12 months by the original manufacturer. For Lithium-ion batteries, please refer to the separate Lithium Warranty information.
Not covered under warranty: Consumable items that naturally wear over time, such as tyres, bulbs, lap belts, upholstery, plastic shrouds, motor brushes, and fuses. Damage caused by misuse, severe impact, accidents, or environmental factors (e.g., flooding, acts of nature) is not covered.
Note: Warranty covers parts only; labour and service costs are handled by your authorised mobility dealer.
Why don’t you show your pricing on your website?
As a mobility scooter manufacturer, we do not sell our products directly to the public. Instead, we work with a network of authorised mobility retailers who set their own retail prices. Because pricing can vary by location and retailer, we do not display prices on our website. To get an accurate quote, please contact your nearest approved mobility dealer.
How do I choose the best travel mobility scooter for my needs?
When selecting a lightweight travel scooter, consider factors such as weight capacity, travel range, portability, storage space, and how often you will need to lift it into a vehicle. Our experienced mobility retailers can offer expert advice, product demonstrations, and recommendations to help you choose the best folding or portable scooter to suit your lifestyle.
Do I need insurance for a travel mobility scooter?
While mobility scooter insurance is not a legal requirement in the UK, it is strongly recommended. Insurance can protect you against theft, accidental damage, and third-party liability, offering extra security and confidence while using your scooter.
Do travel mobility scooters come with a warranty?
Yes, all our portable travel mobility scooters include a manufacturer’s warranty, covering faults or defects for added peace of mind. The warranty length and terms may vary depending on the scooter model—your retailer can provide full details when purchasing.
Are spare parts and accessories available for travel mobility scooters?
Yes, we supply a wide range of spare parts and scooter accessories, including baskets, covers, additional batteries, and replacement components. These are available through our authorized mobility scooter retailers, ensuring your scooter remains in top condition for years to come.
Can travel mobility scooters be used on pavements and roads?
Yes, most portable mobility scooters are Class 2 mobility scooters, meaning they are designed for pavement use with a maximum speed of 4 mph (6 km/h). They are not intended for regular road use, although you can safely cross roads where necessary.
Are travel mobility scooters safe to use indoors?
Absolutely! Lightweight travel scooters are designed to be compact and easy to maneuver, making them perfect for indoor use. Their tight turning radius allows you to navigate safely in shops, shopping centers, supermarkets, and narrow hallways without difficulty.
Can I take my travel mobility scooter on a plane?
Yes, many travel mobility scooters are airline-approved and suitable for air travel. However, it’s important to check with your airline before flying, as rules may vary. Most airlines require the mobility scooter battery to be removed before boarding. Travel scooters typically use sealed, airline-safe lithium or gel batteries, making them convenient for frequent travelers.
